ATEL Helps AJ’s Kid Crane at IKEA Yep, we do cabling too. We dispatched our cabling crew, headed by Matt Burr, to the IKEA parking lot in preparation for local radio station Star 94.1’s "AJ’s Kids Crane." For the ninth year in row, San Diego radio personality AJ will be hoisted 60-feet above ground on a scissor lift “crane” where he will eat, sleep and broadcast live on the air until more than 102,000 new and unwrapped toys are collected for patients of Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego. How cool is that? My heart is always warmed when, even in light of difficult economic times, the fine folks in San Diego come out to support such a worthy cause. Matt, while working hard and pulling the cables to power the event, was happy to have been part of the energetic set-up. For our part, ATEL has been responsible for IKEA’s cabling needs since 2007.
