ATEL's Hospitality Manager Supports MDA

August 3rd, 2011 by admin

ATEL Communications’ hospitality manager, Dave Sugino, will be on board the USS Midway, a long-time ATEL client, on August 18, 2011, from 0900 to 1600 (9 AM to 4 PM, for you landlubbers!), with the goal of raising awareness of and donations for the San Diego Chapter of the Muscular Dystrophy Association and Jerry’s Kids. Local business and community leaders like Dave have agreed to be "arrested" for having a "big heart" in the fun, tongue-in-cheek MDA "Lock-Up." This unique community-wide event raises funds for people with neuromuscular diseases. Dave says, “I was just thinking of all the fun we had in college – luckily we didn't end up in the slammer. But now I'm going to jail for Jerry’s Kids and I need your help!” To get out of jail, Dave needs more than a “get out of jail free card.” He must raise $1,600.00! I’d like to ask your organization to commit to a $100.00 tax deductible donation toward my bail. Each total contribution of $1,600 will enable two of Jerry’s Kids to attend summer camp. Because of your support, MDA is able to continually provide help and hope to hundreds of thousands of children and adults living with neuromuscular disease. Donations from the Lock-Up will support local families and will guarantee that MDA can continue its mission to find treatments and cures, as well as to provide vital services. Please contact Dave at DSguino@atelcommunications.com with your pledge amount, and come on board to see him “locked-up.” Your participation enables MDA to continue to provide : • Worldwide Research, • Multidisciplinary Medical Clinics • MDA Summer Camps • Support Groups • Flu Shots • Support and Hope “I have the pleasure of raising enough money to sponsor kids to attend MDA Summer Camp. Can you please help contribute to that?” Dave Sugino, ATEL Communications, Inc., 858-646-4600 or, www.ATELCommunications.com
