Technician - Cabling Low-Voltage and Fiber

We are seeking a qualified low voltage cable installer. The low Voltage System Technician is directly responsible for installing and terminating Voice and Data cabling (CAT-5e and CAT-6) and other low voltage wiring.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Installing Cable (CAT-5, CAT-6) and cable supports, adhering to cabling standards.
• Utilizing cable test procedures and equipment for a variety of cable types.
• Pulling and routing cable in new construction and existing commercial environments.
• Experience in using hand tools, drills, drivers, Sawzall, fish-tape, glow rods, etc.
• Ability to work from ladders and elevated lifts, when necessary.

Required:

• Pass a drug test.
• Driver's License and own transportation.
• Basic tools for the job.
• Certifications a plus but not required.

Starting as part-time possibly to become full-time in the future.

Experience:

2-3 years low Voltage Cable Installation.
