Volunteers of America Involvement

We love to share our involvement and connections to local and national organizations that work towards bettering the world we live in. It's a great chance to give back, as well as support those who have made a difference. Our own Steven Handelman recently attended a special event - the Annual Anniversary Celebration for Volunteers of America Southwest. They were honoring his friend and insurance man, Jim Mulvaneye, who has worked closely with the organization and was featured as their Guest of Honor. This non-profit was founded in 1896 and focuses on giving vulnerable people a second chance, in particular through education, health services, and housing assistance.
Steven enjoyed this great event and the chance to honor his friend Jim for his contributions.
